The Coastguard Association were £2100 to the good when 70 of the 73  cars entered took part in the car rally in top down motoring weather. There were seven entries from the CANCRE club of Rouen and one from Holland

Lunch break at Hoburne Park Christchurch which was  followed by a cream tea  prepared by the Rotarian wives at Smith's Lawn.
