On Wednesday 23 February 2005 The Mayor of Southampton Councillor Dennis Harriman unveiled a Rotary Clock in the Precinct. Present were District Governor David Pike and the Presidents of the Southampton Rotary Clubs together with a gaggle of Rotarians. __oo__ With 1000 Rotarians present the bells of the Cathedral rang a welcome to Rotary's new centaury. Civic dignitaries led by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, it's High Sheriff, and the Mayor of Winchester were greeted by the Dean the Very Rev Michael Till, the President of RIBI, Gordon McInally and Rotary District Governor David Pike.
